1. About this policy
This policy concerns the InvoiceBold website. Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. These technologies can support a requested function, remember settings, or track activity. The purposes matter even when a technology is not called a cookie.
2. Website and application access
The public InvoiceBold website can be browsed without signing in. Login and registration links take you to the separate InvoiceBold application, where authentication and session storage may be needed to provide the account features you request. Rejecting optional analytics on this website does not prevent access to its public pages or links.
3. Website features and browser storage
This website stores your optional analytics preference in browser local storage as described below. Contact, newsletter, and account deletion forms submit directly over HTTPS to our cPanel-hosted API at api.invoicebold.com for validation and email delivery to our team. Cloudflare Turnstile processes security signals to prevent automated abuse; this security check is separate from optional analytics and operates when forms are available. Submissions are retained in support email systems rather than a website submissions database. Newsletter requests require email confirmation before marketing enrollment.
Clearing browser storage does not delete messages you have sent or subscription records maintained after a request is received. Contact us separately about those records.
4. Fonts and external resources
The website serves its Inter font files from its own assets and does not request those fonts from Google Fonts. Optional Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics resources load only after you accept analytics, as described below.
Following an external link, including a login, registration, company, or app-store link, brings you under that service’s own cookie and privacy notices.
5. Optional tracking and consent
With your permission, this website uses Microsoft Clarity for session recordings and heatmaps, and Google Analytics for visits, page views, and engagement measurements. Neither script loads before you accept optional analytics. Rejecting analytics leaves both services off. Advertising storage is denied; Google advertising user data, ad personalization, and Google signals are also disabled in this integration.
Clarity may use cookies such as _clck to associate visits with a pseudonymous identifier and _clsk to connect page views into a session. These cookies can persist beyond the current tab. See Microsoft’s Clarity cookie documentation for provider details, and Clarity privacy information for its retention practices.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_LCFBP1G2J5 to distinguish visitors and maintain analytics session information. Retention depends on Google Analytics settings and Google’s policies. Read Google’s cookie information and our Google Analytics privacy disclosure.
We store your accept or reject choice in local storage under invoicebold.analytics-consent.v2 for up to 180 days. This preference supports your requested privacy choice. If local storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page and may be requested again later.
You can change or withdraw your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal disables Google Analytics, reloads the page without either analytics service, and removes accessible first-party analytics cookies. A policy link or continued browsing is not treated as consent. This website’s forms are masked for Clarity.
7. Changes and questions
We will update the date on this page when it changes. For questions about website storage or personal information, contact privacy@invoicebold.com. Our Privacy Policy explains information handling, and our Terms and Conditions cover use of the website.
8. Support chat storage
The Chatwoot support widget loads from our support helpdesk when you visit this website. It is separate from optional analytics, so rejecting analytics does not disable support chat. Loading the widget sends technical request data to the helpdesk.
Chatwoot may use the cw_conversation cookie to maintain your conversation across pages and return visits. Browser privacy settings can affect chat continuity. Our integration does not call Chatwoot’s account-identification method. See Chatwoot’s cookie documentation. Storage duration depends on the helpdesk configuration and browser controls; clearing local data does not delete support messages already received. Read our support chat privacy disclosure for information about messages and contact details.
